This weekend I was so fortunate to be invited to a Bloggers Friendsgiving event, hosted by two of the sweetest girls. There were photo opps, amazing food, great drinks and the best company you could ask for.

A lot of the girls I met had the same passion, drive and love for fashion that I have. They have husbands or friends who help take their photos. Which btw, we all still are learning to pose and not feel awkward lol. They have insecurities just like normal people, no matter how confident our content may appear. We have the same goal, to share fashion and to be a part of a community that understands that passion.

Most people wouldn’t think that people who blog about fashion are necessarily the nicest people. They see a side of us, which again is confident and posed. But they don’t see behind that. People don’t see that we are all trying to achieve something, whether it be making a career out of fashion, or overcoming insecurities that we have battled in our past.

But who cares? Through this community I’ve learned to be more secure in my own life, my own brand you might say. For that I could not be more thankful and grateful to the amazing ladies who support me everyday, through every like, every comment and every message.

We will be hosting more of these Chicago Blogger events in the future so stay tuned!
